Field Supervisor

I spent 34 years in Austin, Texas, before finally leaving for the beautiful state of Idaho. My relationship with nature started out as competitive trail running, and I quickly became obsessed with the idea of “conquering the elements.” As I went on through high school and into college, I continued to fall in love with the concept of facing a challenge presented by nature, the variables of which I had no control over, and coming out victorious. It was through this practice of risk and reward that I learned the value of doing hard things, and I’ve been chasing that feeling of accomplishment in all areas of my life ever since.

I came to blueFire with 15+ years of team management experience and a growth mindset. I was looking for a fulfilling and challenging career that would focus on mental health, inspiring personal growth in others, and time in nature. I became an instructor in 2023, and I joined the management team as a Field Supervisor after two years of working in the field.

As a Field Supervisor here at Bluefire, it is my job to inspire, train, and develop new field staff, and ensure the safety and health of our clients. Leadership is my passion, and I’m so grateful to spend my time investing in the lives of our clients and staff.

When I’m not at work, I have several hobbies that include backpacking, traveling, cooking, and pursuing an education in software development.
