Adventure Coordinator
Water has shaped much of who I am. Growing up in Bali, Indonesia, surrounded by rivers and the ocean, I learned early that being outdoors requires both physical skill and emotional discipline. In 2017, I moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana, where I earned a degree in Recreation Management and immersed myself in the outdoor community Montana is known for.
Throughout college, I worked as a whitewater kayaking instructor while also working in kitchens to support my travels and adventures. Teaching on the river refined my leadership style, strengthened my passion for working with people, and deepened my appreciation for building community—all while helping others build confidence through skill development and progression.
From 2016 to 2023, I worked seasonal trail maintenance in the Sequoia National Park, spending extended time living and working outdoors. Those years—grounded in physical effort and removed from distraction—shaped some of my most meaningful personal growth and reinforced my belief that outdoor living is not just recreational, but transformational.
I joined blueFire Wilderness Therapy as an Adventure Coordinator because I was drawn to an organization that values outdoor living as a powerful tool for growth. Much of my own development has come through sustained time outside—on rivers, trail crews, and in national parks—and I’m excited to be part of a team that intentionally creates space for that same kind of transformation. I see deep value in a program that introduces these passions at a young age and helps guide people in healthy, constructive directions. I believe meaningful experiences in the outdoors can build resilience, self-awareness, and authentic connection, and I’m motivated to help facilitate those moments for others to grow through shared adventure.
